The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that this action is part of Moscow’s response to confront the “Russophobia” of the US President Joe Biden’s administration and its extensive sanctions against Russian politicians, businessmen, scientists and journalists.

Russia makes the war with Ukraine part of the West’s massive effort to bring Moscow to its knees. But Ukraine and the West have rejected this charge and accused Russia of starting an illegal war.

The war in Ukraine has become the worst crisis since the Cold War between Russia and the United States. Moscow said on Tuesday that the West was playing with fire by allowing Ukraine to invade deep into Russian territory and use Western missiles in the attack.
