According to Sputnik news agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized in the statement: Speculation about non-nuclear Western countries acquiring nuclear weapons poses a real threat of their spread throughout the collective West.
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted: Those who intend to use the externally inspired unrest as a pretext to repeat the aggression against Iran that took place in June 2025 should be aware of the detrimental consequences of such actions for the situation in the Middle East as well as global international security.
