PNN – The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated in a speech: We will continue to defend Iran’s development of peaceful nuclear technology.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing TASS News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told reporters on Thursday: Moscow has never deviated from its position in support of Iran’s peaceful nuclear technology development and does not intend to deviate in the future.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said in this regard: As for Russia’s position on the international stage, you know that we have always resolutely defended the right of the Iranian people to independent development, including in the field of peaceful nuclear technology. We have never deviated from this position and do not intend to do so.
In addition, Grushko emphasized that relations between Russia and Iran are “based on long historical experience,” TASS reported.
The Russian official then noted: There is no doubt about this. We have a strategic partnership agreement. We are in a neighboring region. Trade, economic cooperation and very good cultural relations are developing, so we will continue to do so.
