Mossad also implicated in the Qatar Gate case.
Israeli media have reported new developments in the so-called “Qatar Gate” case, which also implicates two former senior Mossad officials in a possible collusion case with the Qatari government.
According to published reports, the Israeli Internal Security Agency (Shabak) and the Israeli police have interrogated two former Mossad officials, both of whom are now businessmen, on charges of collaborating with Qatar’s intelligence service.
One of these individuals, whom the Hebrew media refers to as “Shein,” collaborated with the Qatari intelligence service during his time in the Mossad and is currently engaged in business activities in Doha. The second individual is named “David Saig,” who is also a former Mossad official and worked under “Shein.”
A noteworthy point in this case is the connection between these two former Mossad officials and Yonatan Orich and Eli Feldstein, two former close aides to Benjamin Netanyahu, who are accused of collaborating with a lobbying firm supporting Qatar.
