Mossad likely involved in Sydney attack.
Atwan, quoted by Rai al-Youm, wrote: Why shouldn’t we rule out the possibility of Mossad’s involvement in the attack on the Jewish celebrations in Sydney? It is not unlikely that this attack is a planned action by the Israeli regime in line with its new and calculated strategy aimed at improving Tel Aviv’s image.
He added: The goal is to revive the lie of anti-Semitism that had lost its luster after the genocide in Gaza and, more importantly, to punish Australia for recognizing the state of Palestine.
The analyst stated: The greatest enemy of Judaism is Zionism, the most obvious symbol of which is ‘Benjamin Netanyahu’ (Israeli Prime Minister), whose hands are stained with the blood of more than seventy thousand Palestinians, including ten thousand children. He displaced one and a half million Palestinians after destroying their homes and starved them to death by preventing the arrival of aid, and turned food distribution centers into ambushes for their execution.
The editor of Rai al-Youm continued: Netanyahu revealed his possible role in this direct and indirect attack, and that was when he pointed the finger of accusation at the Australian Prime Minister and considered his government to be an instigator of anti-Semitism; and that was because he recognized the Palestinian state and the two-state solution and held him responsible for this attack. Netanyahu has forgotten that with his orders, more than 500 patients, doctors, nurses, and infants were martyred in the Al-Moamedani Hospital in five minutes, and more than 5000 Lebanese were targeted during the pagers or bombing of the suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon.
He clarified: Why should we be surprised that Zionism is behind this attack, then the finger of accusation is pointed at the Arabs and Muslims?
Atwan added: The myth of “anti-Semitism,” which was used specifically to blackmail the Western world and milk hundreds of billions of dollars of its people’s money, the monopoly of lies of “victimhood” and “oppression,” and the exaggeration of the Holocaust, are all lies that have been blown to pieces, after the world witnessed the destruction and starvation of the inhabitants of Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Yemen.
The analyst continued: “The false propaganda was blown to pieces, and the world stood with the victims in Gaza, and millions of Jews shunned the Zionist project because they saw it as an existential threat to Jews. Jews saw Zionism as a threat to the security and peace of the societies in which they live.”
Atwan concluded by emphasizing: Netanyahu has failed to achieve the goals of his wars in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Yemen and Iran and is now looking for an excuse to continue waging war. It is not unlikely that the Sydney attack was one of them, especially after he blamed Iran, which condemned the attack, for it.
According to IRNA, at least 12 people were killed and 29 injured in a shooting on Sunday during the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah on Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
The Israeli prime minister also accused the Australian government in a statement that their policy is spreading hatred of Jews in Australia. This comment was made a few hours after the attack on Jews in Sydney.
He said: “Three months ago, I wrote to the Australian Prime Minister (Anthony Albanese) that their policy is fueling the spread of hatred of Jews in Australia. Anti-Semitism is a cancer that spreads when leaders are silent and do not take action.”
