PNN – The results of a new poll show that 64 percent of Americans are against President Donald Trump’s proposal to “dominate” and “own” the Gaza Strip and turn it into what he describes as a “developed and beautiful region of the Middle East.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Anatolia, according to the survey conducted by the think tank and the Data for Progress Survey Company, a significant part of the participants in this survey expressed their opposition to Trump’s proposal.
According to the poll, 47 percent said they “strongly” disagreed with the plan, and 17 percent said they “somewhat” disagreed with it.
Among Democrats, 85 percent opposed the idea, compared to 43 percent of Republicans. Meanwhile, 46 percent of Republicans supported the proposal.

In this survey, in which 1,200 people from all over the United States participated, it was announced that such a plan includes the “forced resettlement” of about 1.8 million Palestinians living in Gaza in neighboring countries.
This think tank announced in its findings: the overwhelming majority of voters are against the control of Gaza by the United States and the displacement of its Palestinian population.
Trump excused the lack of living conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the extensive destruction caused by the attacks of the Zionist army and ordered the leaders of Arab countries neighboring the occupied territories, including Egypt and Jordan, to welcome the people of Gaza and settle them.
Following Trump’s statements, many countries of the world, especially Islamic countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, expressed their opposition to this plan in a statement.
