PNN – The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement issued a statement declaring that the attack by the Israeli Minister of Internal Security, Ben-Gwer, on the activists of the Samood Caravan is one of the ugliest forms of terrorism against humanity.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement issued a statement on Friday condemning the attack by Itamar Ben-Gwer, the Minister of Internal Security of the Israeli regime, on the activists of the “Samoud” convoy, which was heading to the Strip to break the siege of Gaza.

The Palestinian movement’s statement said: We condemn the terrorist attack in Ben Gweir on the Samood flotilla activists and consider it a manifestation of the ugliest forms of terrorism against humanity. The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement added that the harassment and arrest of the Samood convoy activists is an insult to the world and humanity and encourages the policy of impunity.

Itamar Ben-Giver, the Minister of Internal Security of the Israeli regime, visited the “Ketsiot” detention center, where the international activists of the Samood flotilla are being held, on Friday, and called them “terrorists.”

The Samood Caravan consists of 50 boats and 500 activists, politicians, and volunteers from 44 countries, and among its passengers are figures such as Greta Thunberg, Mandela Mandela (Nelson Mandela’s grandson), and Ada Kolao. It has set out with the aim of breaking the siege on Gaza and delivering food and medical aid to the residents of the region.

According to reports, the seizure operation began on the evening of October 29 when several major ships were in open waters 75 miles from Gaza. Activists said Israeli warships approached the fleet by turning off their detection systems, disrupting the ships’ communications, and Special Forces stormed the ships using water cannons and chemical irritants. Organizers called the action a “mass kidnapping” and “piracy.”

Israel claims that the flotilla is supported by Hamas and that the seizure was necessary to prevent the entry of “prohibited materials.” In contrast, human rights organizations considered the action a clear violation of maritime laws and International Court of Justice orders on the entry of aid into Gaza.

The incident is the third such attack by the Israeli regime on the convoys this year. The United Nations, the European Union, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have condemned it and called for an urgent investigation. Francesca Albanese, the Special Rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories, described the seizure of the flotilla as “a violation of the Convention on the Law of the Sea and part of a genocidal process in Gaza.”
