Nabih Beri: When and where has Israel adhered to the ceasefire?
In a speech today, referring to the occupation regime’s continued aggression against his country, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri clarified where and when Israel has adhered to even a single clause of the ceasefire agreement. This is the aggressive nature of Israel.
He emphasized that it has been 11 months now that the resistance has not fired a single shot and that Lebanon has fulfilled all its commitments regarding the ceasefire agreement.
The Zionist regime began its aggression against Lebanon on October 1, 2024 and after 2 months, on Wednesday, signed a ceasefire with the mediation of the United States, but it has violated it thousands of times.
According to the ceasefire agreement, the Zionist regime’s soldiers were to withdraw from southern Lebanon within 60 days, but the regime, contrary to international law, kept its soldiers in five strategic positions in the region and did not leave.
According to Al-Manar, Nabih Berri continued to respond to the Lebanese resistance’s claims of smuggling weapons by sea, land or air, saying that these claims are false and baseless.
He added: “Some are impatient and unfairly demanding that I resolve the crisis related to the electoral law, while I have not yet received its draft.”
The speaker of the Lebanese parliament added that the Lebanese parliamentary elections will be held as scheduled; there will be no postponement or extension.
He also said that we reject the logic of isolating any political group and that there will be no internal conflict in Lebanon.
