Naim Qasim: “We are ready for a full-scale war with Israel”
“Naim Qassem”, Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in a conversation with Al Jazeera, emphasized: “If Israel is looking to start a comprehensive and full-scale war, we have prepared ourselves for it.”
He added: Any action by the Zionist regime in the direction of waging war against Lebanon will be met with more damage and destruction in the occupied lands.
The Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon stated: Our decision is not to expand the circle of war, but if this issue is imposed on us, we are ready to face this situation.
Naeem Qassem added: We have received threats in the past 2 months and in response we said that the situation on the Lebanese front is related to the Gaza front. Due to the nature of this battle, we have used a small portion of our capabilities.
Regarding America’s actions, he also said: US President Joe Biden’s proposals regarding a ceasefire are not realistic and raising them has internal election purposes. This country is not serious about stopping the war in the Gaza Strip.
