“Al-Qaira Al-Akhbariya” base reported on Wednesday evening that the leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization declared Russia as the “biggest threat” to the security of this alliance in the statement of their final meeting in Washington.
The NATO summit ended its work after 2 days in Washington today, and the members in the final statement, while declaring Russia to be the biggest threat to the alliance, demanded to maintain communication channels with Moscow to deal with the increase in tension.
This statement states: “NATO is ready to provide at least 40 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine next year.”
“NATO supports an irreversible path towards Ukraine’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic community, including NATO membership”.
“NATO plans to establish an office to coordinate the provision of military weapons and training for Ukrainian forces”.
It should be noted that the NATO summit ended in Washington in a situation where the leaders of this alliance were facing a series of concerns, including the possible victory of Trump in the upcoming elections in the United States, as well as the meeting of the leaders of Hungary and India with Putin.
