PNN – The Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam once again emphasized the disarmament of the Lebanese resistance in order to achieve the goals of the United States and the Zionist regime.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting the newsletter, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said: We welcomed US President Donald Trump’s plan for several reasons, including providing immediate aid to Gaza without displacing its residents and opposing the annexation of the West Bank.
He added: I believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sees war like riding a bicycle: if he stands up, he will fall. That is why I am concerned about the situation. On the border with Lebanon, we are facing a war of attrition, not a full-scale war, but a war that tires everyone out.

Nawaf Salam: No one in Lebanon wants to normalize relations with Tel Aviv.
Regarding the possibility of establishing peace between Lebanon and the Zionist regime, he also said: We must be realistic. We already negotiated with Israel about drawing the maritime border two years ago, and this is not a new issue. What we are seeking today is the implementation of the ceasefire that has been ignored by Israel. Israel still occupies some areas in the south and does not release Lebanese prisoners. Declaring a ceasefire alone is not enough and must be implemented in practice.
He explained the timeline of the army plan: The plan will be implemented in phases. In the first three months, the focus will be on arms control: preventing the transfer or use of weapons in the southern Litani. Then the second phase will begin, covering the area between Litani and Sidon.
The Lebanese Prime Minister also claimed that there is no retreat from the government’s monopoly on military force, and claimed that Hezbollah should be a normal political party without a military branch.
This is while Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, once again announced yesterday: We will not be influenced by threats. Disarming Hezbollah will not solve any problem.
