According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this network quoted an American official familiar with the negotiations who did not disclose his name and wrote: He described Hamas’s response as not a clear yes or no, but answers to questions about the provisions included in the proposal and some additional requests.
ABC News, quoting another official, also reported that the US is still analyzing Hamas’s response, and mediators are raising the possibility of reducing the remaining gaps at the current stage.
Mediators are also coordinating with all parties on next steps, which may include another round of negotiations.
