Netanyahu and his wife disagree over the number of Israeli prisoners alive in Gaza

PNN – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with his wife, Sara Netanyahu, in their meeting yesterday with torchbearers marking the day of the establishment of the fake Israeli regime (Yom al-Nakba), announced that 24 prisoners were alive in Gaza, but his wife, reminding Netanyahu, called the number “fewer.” This issue raised concerns and a strong reaction from the families of the prisoners.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Israeli regime’s Channel 13 television, Netanyahu and his wife attended the torchbearers of the fake Israeli regime’s founding day (Yom al-Nakba) yesterday (Tuesday) and gave a speech.

According to the report, referring to the issue of prisoners held by the Gaza resistance, Netanyahu announced that of the 59 remaining prisoners in Gaza, 24 are alive and 35 have been killed. However, Sara Netanyahu, who was sitting next to Netanyahu, reminded him that there were “a smaller number” of prisoners alive.

According to this Zionist media outlet, Netanyahu claimed in the presence of the torchbearers of the ceremony, most of whom are from the families of prisoners, that: It was not clear a year ago, but we changed the face of the Middle East through our vital tools.

He continued his claims, saying: We turned the tables in the Middle East and brought Hezbollah and Bashar al-Assad (former Syrian President) to their knees. Netanyahu added: We also attacked Iran and Yemen. But we have another important mission that I do not consider small, but I am confident that we can do it.

Regarding the Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu also claimed: In addition to the goal of defeating Hamas, we have another important mission, which is to free and return the prisoners. He said: To date, we have freed 196 of our prisoners, 147 of whom are alive.

The Israeli Prime Minister also added, in response to his wife’s warning: Now, in these circumstances, up to 24 people” are alive, and the rest have unfortunately been killed, and we will bring them back.

In this regard, the Prisoners’ Families Headquarters issued a statement in a critical response to the statements made by Netanyahu and his wife: On the eve of the founding day (of the fake regime), you created indescribable terror in the hearts of the families of the prisoners, who are living in a state of unbearable uncertainty.

In a sharp reaction, the headquarters asked Netanyahu and his wife: What did you mean by ‘less’? Do you know something that we don’t? The headquarters of the families of the prisoners emphasized: We call on Netanyahu to clarify and explain his and his wife’s statements. If he has any new information or knowledge about the situation of our children, he should fully disclose it.

In this context, the Health Department of the Prisoners’ Families Headquarters also issued a separate statement warning of real concern over the possible destruction of the bodies of 35 killed prisoners.

The statement said: Any delay in returning the dead prisoners from Gaza could lead to the loss of the bodies and the possibility of their identification. Beyond the medical and legal implications of this situation, the performance of the Netanyahu cabinet in dealing responsibly with the dead and its commitment to the families and the military are also questioned.

The headquarters added: Acting for the release and return of the victims is not a symbolic gesture, but rather the least that the families are demanding.
