Netanyahu and Trump team disagree on second phase of ceasefire.

Netanyahu and the Trump team disagree on the second phase of the ceasefire.

The Israeli media outlet emphasized in this report that this issue indicates signs of disagreement between the current Israeli cabinet and the US President’s team of advisors on managing regional affairs.

The Israeli Channel 13 TV previously revealed in an exclusive report that the United States, against the wishes of the Israeli regime, has sent a serious message to the Hamas movement regarding the timing of the implementation of the second phase of the agreement.

According to information received by Israeli officials, the United States has informed Hamas through mediators that the transition to the second phase of the agreement is expected to begin in early January 2026.

This message was conveyed to the mediators by Steve Whittaker, the US special envoy and one of the main designers of the agreement, which indicates Washington’s determination to move the agreements forward more quickly.

The current position of the US government is in complete contradiction with the demands of the Israeli regime. There is currently great concern in Israeli political circles that the transition to the second phase of the agreement will be imposed on the regime.

This situation will be a serious test for Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership; A prime minister who always claims to have the ability to say no to America and even Trump himself.
