PNN – Following global reactions to the violation of the ceasefire between Iran and the United States and the brutal bombing of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, Netanyahu announced in a message on Twitter the start of direct negotiations with Lebanon “as soon as possible.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Zionist regime intensified its massive attacks on Lebanon, even though it was announced on Wednesday morning that the United States had accepted the ceasefire by accepting Iran’s 10-point conditions, one of which included a halt to attacks on Lebanon.
However, the Israeli Prime Minister, as on previous occasions, violated the conditions and claimed that Lebanon would not be included in the cessation of attacks, and intensified the attacks on the country. This issue and the unprecedented severity of the regime’s attacks on Beirut, which killed more than 200 civilians, provoked a strong global reaction, and various countries and international institutions called on Israel to stop these attacks.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a message on Thursday evening that he had told his cabinet to begin direct talks with Lebanon ‘as soon as possible.’
He said he had made the request to his cabinet yesterday (Wednesday) in light of Lebanon’s “repeated calls” to begin direct talks.
The Israeli prime minister added: The talks will focus on establishing peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.
In an interventionist statement, he claimed to appreciate the Lebanese Prime Minister’s request to demilitarize Beirut.”
These claims are being made by the Israeli regime at a time when the regime has repeatedly violated ceasefire agreements with the Lebanese government.
