Netanyahu claims Hezbollah commander targeted.
According to Al Jazeera Mubasher, Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the regime’s army targeted “Al-Tabtaba’i”, one of the senior commanders of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Continuing his threats against Lebanon’s Hezbollah, he stated that “Israel will not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its military power again”.
The Israeli prime minister added that he expects the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah.
In this regard, the Israeli army chief of staff also claimed that the regime’s forces succeeded in targeting Hezbollah’s chief of staff today.
According to him, “Al-Tabtaba’i”, one of Hezbollah’s senior commanders, was responsible for rebuilding Hezbollah’s military power and preparing it for future battles.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera Mubasher reported, quoting the deputy head of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Political Council, that the party will soon issue an official statement regarding the Israeli regime’s attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut and the targeting of one of the resistance’s jihadist figures.
Mahmoud Al-Qamati emphasized: “We are proud of announcing our martyrs and do not hesitate to do so, but we do not confirm the enemy’s claims.”
On Sunday evening, Azar 2, 1404, the Zionist regime targeted a residential apartment on Al-Areed Street in the Al-Dahiya area of southern Beirut in an airstrike, which led to widespread destruction in the area and caused damage to nearby stores.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun emphasized: Israel’s attack on the southern Dahiya area, coinciding with Independence Day (Lebanon), is a new reason for the regime’s disregard for repeated calls to stop aggression against Lebanon and its opposition to the implementation of international resolutions, all efforts and proposals to prevent the escalation of tensions and restore stability not only in Lebanon but also in the entire region.
He called on the international community to fulfill its responsibility and take serious and decisive action to stop the Zionist regime’s aggression.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 5 people were martyred and 28 people were injured in the attack.
