PNN – Despite Cairo’s alliance with Tel Aviv, the Israeli Prime Minister expressed concern about Egypt’s increasing military power.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a closed-door meeting of the Knesset (parliament) Foreign Affairs and Security Committee that the capabilities of the Egyptian army are being strengthened.
Expressing concern about Cairo’s increasing military power, he added: The Egyptian army must be closely monitored and its excessive strengthening must be prevented.
