Netanyahu humiliated in Hebrew circles after lying about October 7.
Zionist circles have been extremely outraged by the recent statements of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who sought to humiliate the Palestinian resistance fighters and described them as people wearing flip-flops, and have emphasized that these statements by Netanyahu are, in fact, an insult to Israel itself.
Netanyahu recently said in a press statement aimed at downplaying the historic Operation Storm al-Aqsa on October 7, 2023, that they (the Palestinian resistance fighters) attacked us with flip-flops, Kalashnikov rifles and Tundra cars, that they did not spend anything and built tunnels with the rest of their money.
Hamas forces were better equipped than the Israeli army on October 7
Amit Segal, a political analyst for the Israeli 12 TV channel, responded to Netanyahu’s statements by saying: “Those who were wearing flip-flops are those who came in the second wave of the October 7 operation, that is, civilians, and most of those who came in the first wave were armed forces who were much better equipped than the soldiers of the Israeli army’s Golan Brigade in Gaza.”
Noam Tibon, the former commander of the Northern Brigade of the Israeli army, also responded more sharply to Netanyahu, saying: “I want to say something about the flip-flop issue that Netanyahu mentioned. When Netanyahu fled to the bunker, I was fighting there and was with the Maglan unit at the entrance to Kibbutz Nahal Oz.”
Zionists protest on the streets with the slogan “liar” against Netanyahu
He added: “The elite armed forces (referring to the Palestinian resistance fighters) were equipped with bulletproof vests, helmets, RPGs, anti-armor bullets and binoculars, and what we are seeing now in this war is the continuation of the war in line with the party’s goals.”
Danny Hecht, a reporter for the Israeli regime’s Channel 12 TV, quoted a senior officer of the regime who was present in the Gaza war for months and had also seen the October 7 operation, as saying: “For the first time in my life, after 40 years of fighting, I saw ourselves inferior to them (the resistance fighters) in terms of technology and numbers.”
He added: “They were armed from head to toe with enough explosives and had hundreds of drones that destroyed the weapons systems and the best tanks in the world. The ones who were wearing flip-flops were our commanders and senior military leaders, because we didn’t think that would happen. Netanyahu’s reference to flip-flops does not humiliate Hamas, but it humiliates our forces who were killed on October 7.”
Netanyahu has ignited the fire of civil war
Eyal Brockevich, the host of a political program on Channel 13 of the Israeli regime’s television, also strongly criticized Netanyahu in this regard and said: “I will never forgive Netanyahu, he has made many decisions, some of which I may understand, but I will never forgive him for dividing Israelis and creating great chaos.”
He added: “I will never forgive Netanyahu for creating internal tensions among Israelis and he should resign and go home. What I see is that Netanyahu is igniting a civil war and wants us to fight among ourselves in the streets and kill each other.” The Zionist analyst continued: “Since October 7, 2023, I cannot stand Netanyahu’s appearance and I change the channel when the TV shows him, I cannot stand his lies and he lies even when he breathes.” Netanyahu has also not set a specific date for the elections and is doing everything he can to prevent them from being held so that he is not tried.
