Netanyahu rejected Hamas’s new ceasefire offer; The war continues.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Hamas’s latest proposal for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange agreement and claimed that the terms of Hamas’ proposal were “unrealistic”.

The Arabic Sky News channel reported on Friday night that the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced in an announcement after the War Cabinet meeting regarding the rejection of Hamas’s proposal and the approval of the attack on Rafah: Netanyahu has approved the Israeli army’s plan to attack Rafah in southern Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office claimed in a statement: “Hamas’ new position on the ceasefire talks is still based on “unrealistic demands”.

In this regard, a senior political source in the Zionist regime announced on Friday that the statement made by the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, after the end of the meetings of the war cabinet and the political and security affairs cabinet of this regime, focusing on examining the new proposal of Hamas regarding the temporary ceasefire in Gaza issued, stating that it rejects this proposal by Hamas, but does not close the way for the resumption of negotiations on a cease-fire and exchange of prisoners.

The office of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, in its struggle to make the Hamas movement guilty of the failure of the negotiations, claimed: that Hamas’s demands were “irrational and unreasonable” and we would inform the war cabinet about this.

It should be noted that the Islamic resistance movement Hamas announced on Thursday evening that it has presented a comprehensive vision to the mediators based on the principles it described as necessary for an agreement on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This perspective also includes the exchange of Gaza prisoners.

According to Reuters, the first phase of Hamas’ proposal includes the release of women, children, the elderly, and sick Israelis in exchange for the release of 700 to 1,000 Palestinian prisoners. This proposal also includes female Zionist soldiers.

In the new terms of Hamas, it is also specified that the final date of the permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip will be agreed upon after the end of the first phase, provided that in the second phase, all the prisoners are released from both sides.
