Netanyahu: The idea of a “Palestinian state” is pointless and a stupid move

PNN – At a Jewish News Union (JNS) conference in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the idea of a “Palestinian state” nonsense and a foolish move, claiming that this action will not lead to peace in the Middle East, but rather the acceptance of this regime as a Jewish state by the entire Arab world will bring peace and stability to the region.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Jewish News Union (JNS) website, Netanyahu attended the international policy meeting of the union, which was held at the Waldorf Austria Hotel in occupied Jerusalem, and gave a speech about developments in the region.

According to this report, the Israeli Prime Minister stated regarding France’s possible move to recognize the “State of Palestine”: The notion that a Palestinian state will bring peace and stability to the region is foolishness and beyond.

Netanyahu emphasized: I am saying this to the ambassadors of the countries that are here, and you all know this. He also referred to Operation Storm Al-Aqsa by the Gaza resistance and continued: We have just tried a Palestinian state in Gaza and we have seen the consequences.

Netanyahu added: Israel was brutally and painfully attacked by the Palestinians on October 7, 2023. Continuing his speech, he referred to the visit of German Chancellor Olaf Schulz to occupied Palestine early in the war, claiming that Schulz, upon seeing the film of the Hamas attack and the capture of the Zionists, said: They are like the Nazis (Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party from the 1930s to the 1940s).

In this speech, Netanyahu compared Hamas to the Nazis and said that, with the help of Qatar, this movement, unlike them, publicized its operations and had repercussions around the world. He added: The Palestinians are a threat to peace and stability in the region, and we cannot talk about the spread of peace and stability in the Middle East on this basis.

The Israeli Prime Minister then stated, referring to the normalization of his relations with some Arab countries: Some Arab countries have gradually come to understand that Israel is an irreversible reality in the region. However, a number of them still adhere to the principle of not recognizing Israel as a Jewish state with any borders. He added: They want to destroy Israel, especially in Ramallah and Gaza, and they say they will do it.

Netanyahu went on to claim that recognizing the state of Palestine would not lead to peace in the Middle East, but rather normalizing the Arab world’s relationship with Israel and accepting this regime as a Jewish state would bring peace and stability to the region.

According to Netanyahu, there is no difference between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority; Hamas aims to quickly destroy the Israelis by military means. The Palestinian Authority believes that it will first return Israel to the 1967 borders using international means and then occupy the land militarily.

The Israeli Prime Minister also said regarding the ongoing negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States: If Iran obtains a nuclear weapon; all our opportunities will be lost. He stressed that Iran must commit to the United States and ensure that Tehran will not be able to enrich uranium under a possible agreement.

The Jewish News Union website added: Netanyahu also stated that Israel was involved in the fall of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad because Assad relied heavily on Nasrallah and threatened the regime.

Netanyahu also called on the United States to support Israel and prevent the issuance of binding UN Security Council resolutions against the regime.
