Netanyahu: We are not seeking to occupy or rule Gaza.
In an interview with Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel does not seek to conquer, occupy or rule Gaza, but if necessary, there will be a need for “credible forces” to enter the region.
Netanyahu said a few days ago that Israel will be in charge of security affairs in Gaza for an indefinite period. This comment brought widespread criticism of the Zionist regime.
In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, Netanyahu claimed: “We are not seeking to conquer Gaza; We do not seek to occupy Gaza and we do not seek to rule over it. He added: “Therefore, it is necessary for us to have a reliable force that will enter Gaza and kill the murderers if necessary.” This is what will prevent the re-emergence of an organization like Hamas.”
Netanyahu’s claims have been raised while many international observers describe the stated goal of the Zionist regime to “destroy Hamas” as an unrealistic and illusory goal.
