Netanyahu: We must win for Israel’s future.
By tying the future of Israel to the outcome of the Gaza war, the Prime Minister of Israel once again reminded of the dangers faced by this regime in this war.
On Thursday, the Prime Minister of Israel once again emphasized the necessity of winning the Gaza war and admitted that stopping the war will harm the future of Israel.
While many analysts say that Israel has so far failed to achieve its war goals in Gaza, Netanyahu said: “We will eliminate the evil of Hamas, and our soldiers killed dozens of terrorists in Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip.”
In the 100 days that have passed since the war, international analysts have always looked at the statistics provided by Israeli officials regarding the amount of casualties of Hamas forces.
In another part of his statement, the Prime Minister of Israel said that a “huge budget” has been approved to achieve the goals of the war. He also reiterated that “victory” would take several months.
Yesterday, an Israeli media reported that Netanyahu said in a meeting on Tuesday that the war in Gaza will continue until 2025. In a similar assessment of the war, the Israeli Ministry of War said that it expects the war to continue until the end of 2024.
The New York Times recently wrote in a report quoting informed sources that the extent of the Hamas tunnel network has surprised the Israeli army. This American media wrote that the destruction of this tunnel network seems to require several years of work.
In the course of the past weeks, Netanyahu emphasized that he has no intention of ending the war. Of course, he emphasized the dangers of ending the war for the future of Israel.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, the Prime Minister of Israel said: “Israel under my leadership will not give up on achieving a decisive victory against Hamas, and this cannot be doubted.”
He continued: “We will continue to fight with all our forces until we achieve our goals through military action. “Stopping the war before we achieve our goals will harm Israel for generations to come.”
Netanyahu claimed that a decisive victory in the war means the return of prisoners and the destruction of Hamas. He also stated that stopping the war before achieving the goals “sends a message of weakness to our enemies.”
“We must win for the future of Israel and the war will not stop until the kidnapped people return to their homes,” the Israeli prime minister said.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, on the 7th of October (15th of Mehr) in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, began the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories through the border fences at several points, attacked the villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
In response to this operation, the Zionist regime launched heavy attacks against Gaza and put this area under complete siege. Nearly 25,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks. Despite this, as analysts say, the al-Aqsa storm operation has imposed a major security-political defeat on Israel.
