Netanyahu: We will continue the Gaza attacks until we achieve our goals.
According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli regime killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians during last night’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. These attacks were unprecedented since the establishment of a ceasefire in the strip on January 19. Now, Tel Aviv authorities are announcing the continuation of these attacks.
Accordingly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Tuesday’s airstrikes on Gaza were only the beginning and that any negotiations for a ceasefire would be carried out under the condition of continuing the fighting.
In a recorded statement broadcast on the regime’s television, he emphasized that Israel will continue its operations until all its war goals are achieved, including the destruction of Hamas and the release of all prisoners held by the group.
Netanyahu said: “Previous releases have shown that military pressure is a necessary condition for the release of all our prisoners. We will continue to apply military pressure on Hamas until we achieve our goals.”
These statements come as tensions in Gaza have entered a new phase after the intensification of Zionist attacks.
While the Zionist attacks on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of civilians, the United States, as the Zionist regime’s biggest ally, has supported the regime’s continued brutality against the Palestinians.
