Netanyahu’s $5 million reward for the release of any Zionist prisoner.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was heavily criticized after the October 7th Hamas attack, continued the bloody war in Gaza by ignoring the lives of Israeli prisoners in Hamas prisons. Pressure from the families of Israeli prisoners also did not cause Netanyahu to change his policies.
Accordingly, the Israeli Prime Minister set a special reward for the release of Israeli prisoners to counter the accusations leveled against his cabinet that the peace talks and prisoner exchange had failed.
Addressing the Palestinians in Gaza, Netanyahu announced: “We will give a reward of $5 million for every Israeli prisoner in Hamas prison who is released by the Palestinians.”
He claimed: “Anyone who attempts to hand over Israeli prisoners will be given complete security by us to leave Gaza for himself and his family, and will receive a reward of $5 million.”
Netanyahu once again attacked Hamas, denying any activity by the movement in Gaza after the war.
