Netanyahu’s cabinet behaves like midnight thieves

PNN – A member of the Knesset (Parliament) of the Zionist regime said that Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, like midnight thieves, approved the law exempting the Haredim (religious orthodox) from military service.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Sama news agency, Miki Levy, a member of the Knesset of the Zionist regime, said in response to the approval of the law exempting Haredim from military service: In the shadow of the continuation of the fighting in the Gaza Strip, the destructive cabinet approved the draft draft law on evasion of military service like thieves in the middle of the night and exempted tens of thousands of religious school students (Haredi) from military service. shame on you

The Knesset of the Zionist regime voted for this law with the majority of votes on Tuesday morning.

Israel Army Radio said: Despite the opposition of (War) Minister Yoav Galant, the Knesset approved the draft law exempting Haredim with a majority of 63 out of 120 members.

Based on this report, 57 representatives also voted against this draft law.

Galant (from Netanyahu’s Likud party) was the only person in the coalition of 64 pro-cabinet Knesset members to vote against the draft.

The Zionist website “Walla” wrote that with the Knesset’s positive vote, this law will be submitted to the Foreign Relations and Security Committee of the Knesset for consideration in the next stage, so that it can be approved in the second and third readings.

According to the Zionist newspaper “The Times of Israel”, critics say that this law “slowly increases the rate of Haredi recruitment in the army, which is problematic from a legal point of view and does not meet Israel’s current military needs.”

This law includes lowering the age of exemption from compulsory service for “Haredis” to 21 years; While the exemption age is now 26 years.

For decades, Haredi youth have been able to evade conscription by enrolling in religious schools to study religious texts and receiving repeated one-year academic breaks until they reach the mandatory conscription exemption age.
