Netanyahu’s controversial appointment in Washington; An extreme Zionist aligned with Trump’s policies

PNN – The Guardian wrote that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appointed a radical supporter of the Gaza war and settlements in the West Bank as his ambassador to the United States.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this English newspaper added: As Israel prepares for the new administration of Donald Trump, Netanyahu appointed a hard-line supporter of the Gaza war and a longtime supporter of West Bank settlements as ambassador to the United States.

The Guardian added: Yechiel Leiter is an American-born right-winger who wants Israel’s final “rule” (regime) over the lands of the West Bank.

According to this English newspaper, Leiter is an American-born journalist and former assistant to the Israeli regime’s cabinet, who immigrated to the occupied territories under the control of the Israeli regime four decades ago and was appointed as the regime’s new ambassador on Friday.

It is said that his son, who served in the forces of the Zionist regime, was killed last year in the clashes in northern Gaza.

In a statement announcing Leiter’s appointment, Netanyahu described him as a “very talented diplomat” who has a deep understanding of American culture and politics.

Leiter will replace Michael Herzog, the current ambassador of the Zionist regime to America, whose term ends on January 20.

The new ambassador of the Zionist regime in Washington was born in Pennsylvania and has extreme right-wing ideas. He was Netanyahu’s chief of staff when he was the finance minister and was an advisor to the former Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon.

Leiter is from the West Bank settlements north of Ramallah and has established a fund that collects money to finance the settlements. His appointment is approved by Israel Gantz, the right-wing leader of the settlers, and he has described Leiter as a supporter of the Zionist settlement community in the West Bank.

The new ambassador of the Zionist regime in Washington is also a clear supporter of the Abrahams agreements of the US President-elect Trump, which aims to normalize the relations of the Israeli regime with several Arab countries. He also wants the final “sovereignty” of the Zionist regime over the lands of the West Bank, which has raised concerns about the possible annexation of the West Bank by Netanyahu’s cabinet.
