Netanyahu’s gratitude for the ceasefire veto by America.
On Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister appreciated the position of the United States in vetoing the UN Security Council resolution for a cease-fire in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a speech on Saturday, appreciated the action of the United States in vetoing the UN Security Council resolution for a cease-fire in Gaza.

The United States of America vetoed the UN Security Council resolution to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza early Saturday. 13 council members voted in favor of this resolution. England abstained and America vetoed it.

Continuing his speech, Netanyahu said: “Israel will continue the war to destroy Hamas and achieve its goals.”

The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime added: “Other countries should know that they cannot support the destruction of Hamas but demand a cease-fire to prevent it.”

After the veto of the UN Security Council resolution for a cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli representative Gilad Erdan thanked the Joe Biden administration for its “strong support for Israel” in a message on the X social network. He described the resolution as “distorted” and claimed that a ceasefire would only be possible if all prisoners in Gaza were freed and Hamas was destroyed.

Dmitry Polyansky, the deputy representative of Russia in the United Nations, also said that the council’s inaction has caused widespread destruction in Gaza and humanitarian disaster. Poliansky stated: “Once again, American diplomacy is leaving a scorched earth and destruction.”

Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, also condemned the action of the United States in vetoing the Security Council resolution and said: “The position of the United States was hostile and immoral and a clear violation of all human values and principles.”

The head of the Palestinian Authority held the US responsible for the bloodshed of women, children, and the elderly in Gaza at the hands of the Israeli occupying forces. It said that the killing in Gaza was the result of “cowardly” and “supportive of the occupier” policies.

Mahmoud Abbas emphasized that the American policy makes this country a partner in the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing and the crimes committed by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem. He warned that this policy has become a danger to the world and threatens international security and peace.
