Netanyahu’s Minister Unleashes Tirade Against Countries Advocating for Palestinian State”
Finance Minister of the Zionist regime reacted to the initiative of the pioneer countries in recognizing the independent state of Palestine.
On Saturday, the Russia Today news site quoted Hebrew media and reported that Betsleil Smotrich, the occupying economy minister, promised to expand settlements in the West Bank in a clear threat against the diplomatic action of the countries supporting the independent Palestinian state.
Hardline minister Netanyahu threatened that any country that recognizes the independent state of Palestine, we will soon name every settlement in the West Bank after that country.
He announced the promise of settling one million Zionist settlers in the West Bank.
This action is supposed to be done by building 5 new settlements in this area.
Now 700,000 settlers are settled in the West Bank, which is equivalent to 10% of the population of the fake Zionist regime. The new plans of Tel Aviv are based on the expansion of these settlements.
Smotrich called the new measure an attempt to neutralize international measures to recognize the independent state of Palestine.
He said: For every country that recognizes the independent state of Palestine, we will build a settlement in the West Bank.
In response to this illegal action by the Zionists in the development of the occupied settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a strong statement condemning the action of the occupying leaders of Jerusalem to approve the construction of 5 more occupied settlements in the West Bank and this action coincided with the war. Gaza considered a reaction by the occupiers to destroy the ground for the formation of a legal independent Palestinian state based on the inalienable and inviolable rights of the Palestinians.
It should be mentioned that the Zionist authorities are seeking to annex the West Bank to this regime through an ambitious plan; An action that is very difficult considering the presence of several million Palestinians in this region.
