Netherlands: Israel should refrain from attacking Rafah

PNN – Holland’s Foreign Minister Hanke Bruins Slot, stating that the attack on Rafah will become a bigger human disaster, asked the Zionist regime to refrain from invading this area.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Slot wrote on X channel: Reports about Israel’s preparations for a massive military attack on Rafah are alarming. The Netherlands firmly reiterates its request for Israel to refrain from carrying out this military attack, which will lead to a greater humanitarian disaster.

She added: An immediate humanitarian ceasefire that leads to a lasting cessation of hostilities is the most important. This ceasefire is vital for a significant increase in humanitarian aid and the release of hostages.

Slot had warned earlier: The situation in Rafah is very worrying. Many civilians in Gaza have fled to the south. A large-scale military operation in such a densely populated area would result in high civilian casualties and a greater humanitarian disaster. This is inexcusable.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, emphasized a while ago: All efforts should be focused on the immediate cessation of conflicts and the permanent cessation of this terrible conflict.

He added: A massive military action in Rafah will have disastrous human consequences. In addition, Israel should allow more humanitarian aid to enter Gaza immediately.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched a surprise operation called “Al-Aqsa Storm” from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime.

In order to retaliate for the surprise attacks of the “Al-Aqsa storm” and to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed all the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombarding this area.
