Zionist media had previously announced that Israeli security services had arrested an individual named “Vadim Kobianov” on charges of cooperating with the Iranian intelligence apparatus and filming around the residence of Naftali Bennett, the former Prime Minister of the Israeli regime. Based on the indictment, he carried out various missions with financial motives, including documenting shopping centers, recording commodity prices, and purchasing SIM cards for tourists. One of his most sensitive actions was installing a car camera and sending live footage from Bennett’s residence. The case of this defendant is currently under review in the Central Court of Lod.
In recent years, cases of infiltration and espionage against senior officials of the Israeli regime have been reported in the media repeatedly. This new case has also intensified concerns about Israel’s internal and external security and shows that threats from unexpected paths can gain access to sensitive centers of this regime.
Over the past years, Iran has repeatedly managed to access Israeli military and security information through various channels, from collecting confidential information about military equipment and bases to infiltrating the offices of senior officials and command centers.
Security analysts believe these achievements have played an important role in strengthening Iran’s intelligence capacity and strategic planning in the region.
