New details about Tel Aviv’s strange conditions for a ceasefire in Lebanon.
According to Al Jazeera, the Zionist network Kan announced that it has obtained new details of the proposed ceasefire plan in Lebanon. According to this plan, five thousand Lebanese forces will be deployed in the southern regions of the country.
The Zionist regime will also pledge not to attack Lebanon and that the land borders between this country and the Zionist regime will be redrawn!
The Zionist media reported on the new visit of Amos Hochstein, the US President’s envoy, to Lebanon and the occupied territories on Wednesday.
It was previously announced that, according to the ceasefire proposal, the two sides should emphasize the importance of UN Resolution 1701. They can defend themselves if necessary. The Lebanese army will be the only armed force in the south of the country alongside the UN forces. The country’s government must monitor any arms sales or production operations in Lebanon.
The Zionist regime must withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon within a week. The Lebanese army will replace these forces, and the United States and other countries will assume responsibility for monitoring the implementation of this process. The country of Lebanon must disarm every unofficial military group in its south within 2 months.
This is while the Lebanese Hezbollah has repeatedly stated its opposition to withdrawing north of the Litani River, preventing the reconstruction of its positions in the area, and disarming itself, but the Zionist regime is trying to reserve the right to attack Hezbollah positions even after the signing of the aforementioned agreement.
Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, stated that the US proposal for a ceasefire requires the formation of a committee of Western countries to monitor the implementation of UN Resolution 1701, emphasizing that this is unacceptable for Lebanon.
He also emphasized that the inclusion of any clause regarding the freedom of action of the Zionist army in Lebanon is unacceptable and cannot even be discussed because it is considered an infringement of Lebanese sovereignty.
