New details about the third possible assassination attempt on Trump

New details about the third possible assassination attempt on Trump.

According to the Associated Press, the suspect from Nevada, who was arrested with weapons and ammunition on Saturday night outside of one of the checkpoints at the meeting place of Donald Trump, the candidate for the 2024 US presidential election in Southern California, was released on bail of 5 thousand dollars the same night!

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said the 49-year-old suspect, who lives in Las Vegas, was driving an unregistered black SUV with a fake license plate when security forces stopped him at a checkpoint near Trump’s Coachella rally in East Los Angeles.

According to Bianco, the driver claimed to be a reporter, but it was unclear if his identification documents were valid. Also, according to the initial report, after observing the “disorder” in the car’s room and searching it, the security forces discovered weapons and ammunition along with several passports and driver’s licenses with different names.

A statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said that the man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a ready-to-fire weapon and a magazine with a larger capacity than usual.

According to the statement, this incident did not threaten the security of Trump or those present at the meeting, and the suspect was arrested before the former president arrived at the place. This person must appear in court on January 2, 2025.

Bianco declined to comment on or speculate on the suspect’s motives. According to him, if the suspect passes this checkpoint, another checkpoint is set up, which the secret service forces are in charge of.

Following two assassination attempts on Trump’s life in recent months, the security measures around him and his election rallies are very strict. A court in the United States issued an indictment last month against another suspect on the charge of attempting to assassinate and watching Trump for 12 hours and writing a letter stating his interest in killing him.

Also, two months ago, Trump was targeted during a speech at his rally in Pennsylvania, and a bullet hit the ear of the former president. The suspect was also shot dead by the Secret Service forces.
