New details of Ben Guer’s security plans revealed to escalate tensions.
According to Al Jazeera, an investigation by the Israeli Channel 13 revealed that Itamar Ben-Guer, the Minister of Internal Security, and his accomplices have taken control of the police forces.
The investigation includes recordings in which Ben-Guer calls on his close associates to intensify incitement against Arabs and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The network reported that Ben-Guer, who initially intended to go to court to block the broadcast of the investigation, was ultimately unable to do so, as the court allowed the investigation to be broadcast.
One of the network’s reporters told the Zionists: “You can now judge the performance of the Minister of Internal Security and a member of the Council of Ministers of Security. Ben-Guer’s secrets will be revealed.”
According to the Channel 13 report, the investigation in the “Hamkur” program (source) includes thousands of text and audio messages from Ben-Guer and his close associates.
The investigation shows how Ben-Governor has been trying to create a balance of deterrence for the Israeli prime minister, step by step.
The network also noted that at the height of the fighting, Ben-Governor’s advisers were thinking about party politics.
Channel 13 said that Ben-Governor said in one of his conversations: “Think… I’m joining the Security Council… Our problem is much bigger than party politics.”
Ben-Governor also mentioned in one conversation that “we are preparing ourselves in the police and border guards for the possibility of carrying out an operation,” which, according to Channel 13, could lead to new violence between Arabs and Jews in the occupied territories.
In the report, the Channel 13 reporter referred to the WhatsApp group created by Ben-Governor, calling it “Strategy and Government.”
The group includes his closest friends, his chief of staff, his wife, and a seemingly endless array of spokespeople and media advisors that Ben-Governor has appointed to run the Department of Homeland Security.
The network also released dozens of text messages from Ben’s most senior adviser.
