On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime. After 45 days of fighting and conflict, on November 24, 2023, a temporary ceasefire was established between the Israeli regime and Hamas.
This pause or temporary ceasefire lasted for seven days and finally ended on December 1, 2023, and the Israeli regime resumed its attacks against Gaza.
Following the failure of the Zionist regime to achieve its two main declared goals, i.e. destroying the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners through war, the United States and Qatar finally announced on January 15, 2025 that the Israeli regime and the Hamas movement had reached a ceasefire agreement.
This agreement came into effect on January 19, 2025, and its first phase will last for 6 weeks.
During this stage, the implementation of the agreement will be negotiated in the second and then the third stage.
