PNN – The brother of the British king was arrested by police in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, brother of King Charles III of England, was arrested on Thursday on charges of misconduct.
According to the media outlet, the former prince was stripped of his royal title last fall after his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was revealed in the United States.
Formerly known as Prince Andrew, he has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Thames Valley Police did not name Mountbatten-Windsor in its news release, but the agency said it was “assessing” reports that the former prince had sent business reports to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender in 2010.
The police statement reads: After a thorough assessment, we have now launched an investigation into his alleged misconduct in public office. It is important that we protect the integrity and impartiality of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this misconduct.
The Greyzone website, in a report referring to published documents regarding the involvement of the country’s royal family in the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal case, wrote that this is not the first time that British officials and the country’s intelligence services have been actively involved in sexual corruption cases.
According to the report, the release of a huge collection of confidential files on Jeffrey Epstein has put Prince Andrew, the brother of King Charles III of England and the third child of Queen Elizabeth II, in the spotlight.
