According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, the US Treasury Department issued a statement saying: We have imposed new sanctions on individuals and entities associated with the Houthis (Yemeni Ansarullah Movement).

The statement said: The sanctions against the Houthis target 32 ​​individuals and entities and 4 vessels in the largest action against them to date.

The US Treasury Department claimed that the targeted networks were part of an operation to raise funds and provide weapons to the Houthis.

The media also announced that the United States has sanctioned several Chinese companies for transferring military equipment and supplies to the Houthis.
