PNN – The website of the New York Post newspaper reported that the American president had “lost his concentration” during the G7 summit talks in Italy and, according to one of the diplomatic sources, was “at his worst”.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the New York Post quoted a member of a non-American delegation and wrote that the mistakes of the 81-year-old man on the first day of the summit were “embarrassing”.
According to this American media, Biden attracted attention with an unusual military salute when he welcomed Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and separated from his counterparts during the paratroopers show, forcing the host prime minister to join him with other officials.

According to Italian Public Radio and Television, Biden apparently left Meloni waiting 20 minutes late before the start of the summit.
Andrew Bates, the deputy spokesman of the White House, described these reports as “lies” and spoke of “Biden’s successful leadership abroad in advancing American national security.”
Biden also did not attend a dinner hosted for the G7 leaders at a luxury hotel in southern Italy.
Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Biden’s presence of mind has become increasingly worrisome for Democratic lawmakers and his aides, with the US president often reading handouts and taking naps during meetings.
According to an Ipsos poll last winter, 86 percent of respondents — including 73 percent of Democrats — believe Biden is too old to finish a second term.
