New York Times: Biden’s team is deceiving Americans

PNN – The “New York Times” newspaper wrote in a report emphasizing the disastrousness of the recent election debate between Biden and Trump: Despite the growing concerns of American Democratic voters about Biden’s health and questioning his suitability for the presidency, Biden’s close circle deceives people and insults their intelligence by normalizing the situation.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from this American media, after the controversial debate between US President Joe Biden and former US President Donald Trump, a discourse has emerged from those close to the Trump campaign that contradicts the ongoing concerns of voters who see him as too old to win the election.

This report refers to the New York Times/Sinai College survey that showed that 69% of voters – and 55% of voters supporting Biden – considered him too old to take over the presidency, and added: These concerns are now so serious that they are echoed publicly by many Democratic Party pundits and privately by lawmakers, donors and strategists. They are worried about losing the 2024 Democratic Party campaign to Trump.

The New York Times wrote: At the same time, a stubborn mentality has formed in Biden’s close circle, which still considers Biden to be the best option for the Democrats’ nomination and rejects any attempt to step down and replace him. Former US President Barack Obama’s speechwriter John Favreau, who asked the Democrats to replace Biden with someone else to continue the race, said that there is still enough time for this replacement: Joe Biden’s gift to us was to agree to hold a debate before the convention (to finally nominate the party’s nominee). If this debate was in October, I wouldn’t have said that. He described the efforts of Biden’s friends and relatives to silence people who want to replace Biden as an insult to the voters. Criticizing Biden’s team’s support for his candidacy despite his defeat in the debate with Trump, Favio said: Millions of Americans saw this, and you can’t tell the people who criticize are in bed or crazy.

X-Users Prefer Trump over Biden after presidential debate’

Another part of this report states: Biden’s planning team insists that he can handle the re-election campaign, while their treatment of him showed otherwise. After his fall from the plane’s stairs went viral, they allowed him to use shorter stairs to board Air Force One. Also, far fewer news conferences are planned for him than his predecessors. All this shows the confirmation of Biden’s weakness by his close associates.

In another sign of the risk aversion of the Biden campaign to admit his incompetence and the need to introduce a new candidate, this article wrote: White House adviser Anita Dunn and Molly Murphy, a pollster close to Biden, appeared on MSNBC television programs and defended Biden’s presence in the race, ignoring polls that showed American voters wanted another candidate. Murphy, in response to the polls, described it simply as the usual appeal of alternatives.

NBC: Four days after his disastrous debate, Biden still hasn’t contacted top Democrats in Congress

Meanwhile, “NBC News” wrote in a report about the reactions of the American president and his support team: Biden has yet to personally contact Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries or other congressional leaders after the debate. It’s a decision that has puzzled some lawmakers.

This media quoted one of the democrats of the parliament and wrote: White House staff should be transparent at least in private contacts with lawmakers. He said: They should explain whether the problems seen by Biden in the debate scene were sudden or they were already aware of it.
