New York Times columnist described the three unprecedented dangers threatening Israel.

Friedman, who published this note after visiting occupied Palestine, writes that the general conditions in Israel today are completely different from what they were in the past.

Those who advised me not to travel to Israel were quite right, he added in his weekly note in the New York Times. It has been unprecedented since 1948.

In this regard, Friedman wrote: The first danger is that Israel today faces real threats from a group of enemies who share a common opinion with each other regarding religious issues and have armed forces that are updated and on par with the technology of the 20th century.

The New York Times writer added: Today, Israel’s enemies are no longer small militia groups, but large armies that have brigades and battalions and have electronic capabilities and long-range missiles, drones, and highly advanced military weapons.

Friedman saw the second danger threatening Israel in the massive massacres of civilians and added that Israel’s war in the streets and alleys of Gaza led to an increase in the number of children and women victims in this area.

In this regard, he wrote: US President Joe Biden cannot continue to support Israel in this way unless Israel itself rejected some kind of diplomatic agreement.

According to Friedman, the third danger that threatens Israel is the existence of the worst possible leader in the history of Israel and perhaps the history of the Jews in power, he wrote, I am strongly impressed by the way Netanyahu has acted and that he has prioritized his personal interests over the interests of Israel and continues to prioritize his support. I am surprised and amazed by the extreme right even if it comes at the cost of the destruction of social solidarity.

The New York Times columnist wrote: As long as Netanyahu is in power and bears the heavy burden of defeating Hamas, Joe Biden will not have any success in bringing Israel and the rest of the region closer together and in creating regional agreements of this kind. It remains unsuccessful.
