PNN – An American media outlet revealed America’s failure against Ansarullah forces in Yemen.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV, American sources told the New York Times that Yemeni air defenses nearly targeted several American F-16 and F-35 fighter jets during the recent US attacks.
The report adds that the United States has failed to achieve air superiority over Ansarullah (Houthi) forces during recent attacks and has failed to put them under serious pressure.
According to the New York Times, Ansarullah forces managed to shoot down seven American MQ-9 drones in the first month of the US conflict in Yemen alone.
According to the report, US President Donald Trump had called for quick results against Ansarullah forces, but was surprised by the lack of progress and operational stalemate of American forces.

The New York Times also revealed that the massive US attacks on Yemen have led to the widespread use of advanced munitions, which has raised concerns in the Pentagon about reducing US military preparedness against potential Chinese threats.
Ultimately, according to the report, the Trump administration decided to halt operations against Yemen because the US Central Command (CENTCOM) was unable to achieve its set goals.
The New York Times added: General Dan Reason Keene, the new US Army Chief of Staff, and a number of senior US officials opposed extending the attack on Yemen because no results had been achieved.
According to this American newspaper; The Trump administration intended to declare a fictitious victory against the Houthis if the missile launches stopped, but the attacks continued.
The New York Times wrote: The proposal from the US Central Command was to conduct an 8- to 10-month campaign to destroy air defense systems and then carry out targeted assassinations.
According to the American newspaper, “Saudi officials supported the plan of General Michael Corella, head of CENTCOM, and provided a list of 12 senior Houthi leaders as targets.”
The New York Times concluded: Oman’s mediation helped Trump get out of this predicament, and in return, the Houthis pledged not to target American ships.
