The report states that the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime not only did not reduce the influence of military and security commanders from his era but also prepared the ground for them to regroup outside Syria, aiming to target the Jolani regime through military activities and take control of some areas.

The New York Times, in a report on this matter, wrote that based on conducted interviews and the examination of communications and exchanged messages within the heart of this network, former Syrian generals, including Suheil al-Hassan, commander of the special forces of the Bashar al-Assad regime, and Kamal al-Hassan, the former head of military intelligence, are involved.

The report mentions that Suheil al-Hassan has nearly 168,000 forces in Syria, with thousands of them possessing military equipment. Rami Makhlouf, a close associate of Bashar al-Assad, also supports him.

It is worth noting that since Jolani and his affiliated elements came to power in Syria, various regions of the country have witnessed an escalation of massacres, murder, pillage, and aggression.
