New York Times: Hamas’ response to the ceasefire agreement was serious.

The American newspaper New York Times reported, quoting some officials: The proposal presented by Hamas regarding the ceasefire has few changes compared to the proposal presented by Tel Aviv and Washington.

This newspaper continued: Hamas’ response was serious and now the ball is in Israel’s court. Tel Aviv must decide whether to enter into this agreement or not.

The New York Times also reported that CIA Director William Burns is expected to attend today’s talks in Cairo.

Last night, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement announced that it had agreed to the ceasefire proposal presented by the Egyptian and Qatari mediators.

The Hamas movement announced that Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of this movement, has announced the agreement of Hamas to the proposal of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to the Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and the Minister of Information, Abbas Kamel.
