PNN – As journalists and researchers delve into the files of sex offender Epstein for evidence of his horrific crimes, one stark and undeniable truth emerges: documents that reveal details of the secret activities of those who were never held accountable.
According to a detailed report published in the New York Times, the documents reveal a long list of businessmen, politicians, academics and entertainment stars who provided a safe environment for Jeffrey Epstein, the businessman accused of child trafficking and, in some cases, sexual abuse, in exchange for money, influence and services.
According to Rai Al-Youm, the newspaper quotes Nicole Hymer, a history professor at Vanderbilt University, as writing: Despite all the facts that have been revealed so far, the intensity and extent of these individuals’ complicity with Epstein remains shocking and people today see corruption at its most obvious.
These correspondences reveal a complex network of relationships and contacts, in which the names of prominent figures, including presidents, ministers, and high-ranking officials, can be seen. According to the newspaper, Epstein’s skills even caught the attention of Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, who emailed Epstein in 2012 and asked: What night or day will your loudest party be on your island?
Musk later said on the social network that he had had very limited correspondence with Epstein and had repeatedly declined his invitation.
Robert Draper, a reporter for the aforementioned newspaper, revealed in a report that this Jewish-American billionaire had dealings with and provided services to a large number of famous figures, including Hollywood director Woody Allen, famous American thinker and linguist Noam Chomsky, and former prosecutor Kenneth Starr.
Other names on the list include Catherine Roehmler, former White House counsel under President Barack Obama, who resigned from his position as general counsel at Goodman Sachs on Thursday evening.
Other names whose ties to Epstein have been revealed include Steve Bannon, one of Trump’s most important political allies, Deepak Shubra, an alternative medicine expert, Barry Josephson, a film director, and Lawrence Summers, a former president of Harvard University and former Treasury Secretary.
The report names Andrew, Prince of England, Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, and Mette Marit, Crown Princess of Norway, as well as a group of famous businessmen.
In 2014, former Barclays CEO James E. Staley told Epstein in an email that the upper-class American elite would never face a popular uprising like the one that occurred in Brazil over economic and social issues.
He claimed in a defiant tone that groups that might protest had been silenced by the promotion of a culture of consumerism.
That same year, Epstein received an email from an anonymous person that read: Thanks for the nice evening. Your little girl made a little noise.
According to the New York Times, in another message, Epstein asked one of his clients – whose identity has also been withheld – to buy some sex toys and told her: I want you to talk in the dirtiest, nastiest, most creative way possible. It will free your mind.
One such conspiracy theory is “Pizzagate.” The newspaper’s repeated references to the pizza incident are reminiscent of a conspiracy theory that was debunked in 2016. The case alleged that a number of prominent Democrats had tortured and sexually exploited children at a pizza parlor in Washington.
Of course, the Pizzagate story, in all its details, is different from the Epstein cases, yet some are trying to make connections between them.
The report points to a renewed controversy surrounding Epstein’s death in prison in 2019, following the release of new videos, although his death was officially ruled a suicide.
Former Republican Representative Markuri Taylor Greene said: These cases have exposed facts that we knew existed but that if we had mentioned, we would have been accused of conspiracy theories. He clarifies that none of Epstein’s friends have ever been prosecuted.
According to Draper, a journalist, Epstein was not an influential figure in American politics, despite his extensive connections, but simply exploited loopholes in the American social and political system that allowed elites to escape justice.
