PNN – The New York Times wrote that Ukrainian citizens will likely face heating cuts in the coming winter, and factories will also close due to rising electricity prices.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing TASS, the New York Times reported that Ukrainian citizens will likely face heating outages and factories will likely close due to rising electricity prices in the coming winter.

According to the newspaper, several Ukrainian cities have already postponed the activation of central heating in residential buildings due to gas shortages. A prolonged interruption in the supply of gas and electricity to households is likely to lead to the emigration of Ukrainians, which would further weaken the country’s economy.

Concerns about the need to postpone the heating season are increasingly being raised in Ukraine, and the government has decided to shorten the heating period by a month and provide heating from November 1 to March 31. Typically, the season starts in October and lasts until March.
