New York Times: US Defense Secretary Reveals Military Secrets Again.
The New York Times has made new revelations against US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegsett in its latest report.
Accordingly, the report states: Informed sources say that on March 15, 2025, Hegsett published the flight plan of US F/A-18 fighter jets to attack positions of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement in a social network group that included people such as his wife, brother and personal lawyer.
The new report, which was prepared based on the testimony of four informed sources, has faced serious challenges for Hegsett’s management and raised fundamental questions about his qualification to serve as the US Secretary of Defense.
The report emphasizes: Hegsett not only provided this information to people who did not have permission to access such information, but also used his personal phone to do so, and security experts consider this action by the US Secretary of Defense to be a gross violation of the country’s security protocols.
The New York Times adds: The revelation follows previous reports that Hegsett mistakenly included Jeffrey Goldberg, editor of The Atlantic, in a Signal messenger chat group about similar plans.
He had leaked attack plans and details of operations in Yemen on the Messenger.
