New York Times: US partners have increased trade relations with Russia.

According to the New York Times, the Ukrainian war began on February 24, 2022, due to NATO’s expansion to Russia’s borders. As we approach the third year of this war, the balance of power has completely shifted towards Russia and Ukraine has no hope of winning this conflict.

Accordingly, the New York Times reported on expanding trade relations between countries close to the United States and Russia.

While Washington hoped to dissuade Russia from continuing the Ukrainian war with extensive economic sanctions, evidence now indicates that countries close to the United States are not accompanying the government in this regard.

The New York Times reported on the expansion of crude oil imports from Russia by India and the Persian Gulf countries on a large scale. The European Union is also either unwilling or unable to comply with Western sanctions against Russia and has now increased trade relations with Moscow.

This is while the support of European countries for Ukraine has not seen growth. This problem is rooted in the fact that European countries have not increased their weapons production.
