PNN – Norway announced that it is working with Germany to send powerful air defense systems to Ukraine.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Norway announced that it will provide Ukraine with an air defense system worth $700 million.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gaard Storte said: Together with Germany, we are now ensuring that Ukraine receives powerful air defense systems.

He added: Germany and Norway are working very closely to support Ukraine in its fight to defend its country and protect civilians from Russian airstrikes.
The Norwegian Ministry of Defense also announced that Oslo and Berlin will cover the cost of purchasing two Patriot systems along with missiles for Ukraine.
This is despite Russia having repeatedly said that providing Western weapons to Ukraine would hinder the resolution of the military conflict and make NATO countries part of the crisis.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned that any shipment containing weapons for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for the Russian military.
