Norway: The situation in the Gaza Strip is terrible

PNN – Norway’s foreign minister warned in an interview on Monday that the situation in the Gaza Strip is dire and that many people are having trouble accessing aid.

According to Pakistan News Network, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Ide said that 20 trucks of humanitarian aid arrived in Gaza yesterday, but this is small compared to the needs of civilians in this area.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, he added: “I express my deep concern about the situation in Gaza and we must stop the killing.”

Barth Ide said: “After the war stops, we must work towards a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.”

The Norwegian foreign minister warned: “The situation in the Gaza Strip is terrible and many people are having trouble accessing aid.”

On the other hand, according to the draft text of the European Union summit, this week the leaders of this union will demand a “humanitarian pause” in the war between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance forces so that aid can reach the residents of Gaza.

According to Reuters, EU officials said the text may be changed before the October 26-27 meeting of EU leaders. According to this report, some member states have expressed concern about the request for a cease-fire or cessation of hostilities and said that it could be seen as limiting the “right to defense” of the Zionist regime.

The European Union has refused to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in Gaza and called it the “right of self-defense” of the Zionists.
