PNN – The Norwegian National Wealth Fund announced that it would suspend its investments in the occupied territories due to the war in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Norway’s Finance Minister emphasized that the country’s sovereign wealth fund should not invest in companies that are partners in the occupation in the West Bank and the war in Gaza.

The Norwegian minister also said: Further actions are expected from the National Wealth Fund after today’s announcement of the decision regarding investments in Israel.
The Norwegian Finance Minister’s remarks come as the Hebrew newspaper Israel Hayom reported that the Norwegian National Wealth Fund has announced that it is suspending its investments in Israel due to the war in Gaza.
Norway’s sovereign wealth fund confirmed that it is selling its shares in 11 Israeli companies.
