PNN – The leader of Iraq’s “State of Law” coalition emphasized that the US attacks on his country’s territory lay the foundation for the rule of the “law of the jungle”.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report from “Earth News”, Nouri Al-Maliki, the leader of the Government of Law coalition, said: America’s encroachment on Iraq’s sovereignty and the killing of its innocent children have been repeated in an unprecedented manner and in the absence of an international deterrent.
Al-Maliki added: We condemn the targeting and assassination of a number of our compatriots in the Iraqi forces and emphasize that the Iraqi government has the right to act at all levels to stop these aggressions and condemn them. Because this action establishes the law of the forest and causes more killing and destruction for which there is no justification in international laws.
He further noted: Iraqis do not accept oppression and they cannot ignore the lives and blood of their children, and a national position must be adopted to protect the sovereignty of the country and the lives of the people.
